Paul Rapsey's fourth novel, Deadly Sea Weed , is scheduled to be released in early 2025. As with his first three novels, the story is set in small town Nova Scotia along a famous tidal river. If you have read any of his earlier works, you will discover several of the same delightful but flawed individuals. Paul's fictional stories are as much, or more, about the interesting characters and relationships as they are about the mystery that slowly unfolds. Written in an easy conversational style, the stories are a blend of whimsy, sadness or tragedy, dry humour and inspiration. Draft cover, c. 2024
This blog is for the purpose of reporting on past and future shows I have or will be performing in. Since 2019, these plays are monologues that I have written. Theatre on a shoe-string budget requires all the help it can get from social media. I trained as an actor and performed professionally in the 1970s before becoming a lawyer in the 1980s. In the 1990s and early 2000s, I performed occasionally , taking up theatre (monologues) again after my retirement from the practice of law in 2015.
