Paul has now signed a contract with Pegasus Publishers in the UK for the publication of his third novel, "The Listing Lighthouse". The manuscript is in the hands of these publishers. However, he has just written a new monologue: "The Little Wooden House". The script is being published by Amazon. This is a one Act dramatic monologue in five scenes. It is his shortest monologue to date and will run only about 30 minutes. His five other scripts, published in a compilation titled "Five Monologues", run from about 50 to 90 minutes. Paul is currently working on learning the script and hopes to perform it live this spring and summer. Because it is a short play, he hopes to find another performer or performers, theatrical or musical, to make a benefit performance feasible.
This blog is for the purpose of reporting on past and future shows I have or will be performing in. Since 2019, these plays are monologues that I have written. Theatre on a shoe-string budget requires all the help it can get from social media. I trained as an actor and performed professionally in the 1970s before becoming a lawyer in the 1980s. In the 1990s and early 2000s, I performed occasionally , taking up theatre (monologues) again after my retirement from the practice of law in 2015.
