Lately, I have been working on a new book, my second novel: "Murder, Buy Cheeses". I have not had time to think about performing, let alone writing a new play. The theatrical muse has been asleep. I do not know when, or if, I will find the creative and physical energy to mount another play. I am now in my 74th year. I am content with what I have accomplished in the past eight years. And I am enjoying the challenge of writing in this new medium. Also, I am enjoying more time for exploring this wonderful province of Nova Scotia.
This blog is for the purpose of reporting on past and future shows I have or will be performing in. Since 2019, these plays are monologues that I have written. Theatre on a shoe-string budget requires all the help it can get from social media. I trained as an actor and performed professionally in the 1970s before becoming a lawyer in the 1980s. In the 1990s and early 2000s, I performed occasionally , taking up theatre (monologues) again after my retirement from the practice of law in 2015.
